National Champion
After having struggled with a sore hand and thumb and the fact that I missed Q-School, I finally got my first win of the year. I started the National Strokeplay Championship steady but finished in spectacular. I played my last round in 65 strokes, which was more than enough to win the title.

“When I first joined my parents to the golf course at Best Golf & Country club, I was eight years old. At that time playing golf wasn’t yet my favorite game. I loved playing tennis, soccer and hockey too. And speed skating was what I enjoyed in wintertime”.
Today 19 year old Marieke Nivard is Dutch National Champion and has had 4 international wins.
